The heart of the building and construction materials sector is beating in Dubai these days.

Considered as one of the most important gatherings of the sector, "The Big 5" started with intense participation from all over the world.
The exhibition, which took place in Dubai, was also where the latest models in the building and construction sector were exhibited for the first time.
Due to the new era in diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates and Turkey, the fair will be held in Turkey. This year has a special significance for its manufacturer.

Turkish building-construction materials companies made a landing in the United Arab Emirates. 230 Turkish companies participated in the fair.

"TURKEY HAS THE BIGGEST FAIR TENT"

Josine Heijmans, Vice President of "The Big 5", stated that Turkey is the country with the largest exhibition tent and said:
"There are many representatives from many countries. But especially Turkey has the biggest exhibition tent. There are great opportunities for trade in this region. Already, $6 trillion worth of projects are underway and we expect another $3 trillion worth of new projects to come on stream."
Çağatay Erşahin, General Manager of Expotim, stated that Turkish companies made a landing at the fair and that the participating companies can reach very serious business potentials from Africa and the Middle East.

Adil Pelister, President of the Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters Association (IKMiB) and Vice President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), pointed out that it is a very important fair for the construction industry.

Pelister shared that it is an important event for the promotion of companies and the export of their products and said that there are very important opportunities in nearby geographies.
Air Conditioning Industry Exporters' Association Mehmet Şanal said about the fair, "There were some recessions due to political reasons, but we have overcome them now. We are here to increase our export potential."
